Bahrain Defense Force said Sunday its air defense systems continue confronting successive “Iranian terrorist attacks,” destroying 95 missiles and 164 drones targeting the Kingdom since the assault began. In a statement, the General Command said targeting civilian sites and private property with ballistic missiles and drones constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter. It added the attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security, praising the readiness and vigilance of its personnel in protecting the Kingdom’s airspace. Authorities urged residents to remain indoors except when necessary, avoid damaged areas or suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations or debris sites, and rely on official sources for information. – KUNA
