Bangladesh Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the Government and the people of Bangladesh, and on my own behalf, I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt felicitations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, and the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait on the joyous occasion of the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day of Kuwait. These cherished occasions commemorate Kuwait’s proud history, sovereignty, and remarkable journey of progress and development. Under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir, Kuwait continues to thrive as a beacon of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region. The friendship between Bangladesh and Kuwait is deep-rooted and historic, founded on mutual respect and shared aspirations for the welfare of our peoples. Kuwait’s recognition of Bangladesh on 04 November 1973 as the first Gulf country marked the beginning of excellent bilateral relations, which have since expanded into strong cooperation in human resources, trade, investment, development, energy, defence, and other key sectors.
