The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, led by Minister Osama Boodai, conducted a field inspection tour of several shops in Hawalli Governorate, resulting in the issuance of 13 violation reports. According to a ministry statement, the campaign, carried out with the participation of the emergency team on Saturday evening, uncovered violations including non-compliance with fixed food prices, selling products above the specified price, failure to display prices, inaccurate promotional offers, failure to issue invoices, and not specifying the country of origin of goods. The ministry emphasized that its emergency teams will continue inspection campaigns to monitor markets, enforce price controls, enhance consumer protection, and ensure compliance with regulatory decisions, reports Al-Rai daily.
