Crown Prince salutes loyalty and vigilance of National Guard to safeguard Kuwait

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah visited the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) on Saturday, accompanied by His Highness the Prime Minister Shiekh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Upon arrival, His Highness the Crown Prince was welcomed by the KNG’s Deputy Chairman Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, KNG’s Undersecretary Maj. Gen. Hamad Salem Al-Barjas and other KNG commanders. His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and commended the KNG’s great efforts in addressing rapid regional developments. He was also briefed on the KNG forces’ response to heinous aggressions on the State of Kuwait, along with their decisive security measures to protect the country’s vital sources and promote security and stability. His Highness the Crown Prince lauded the KNG personnel’s sincere efforts and great sacrifices in doing their national duties as well as their courage and vigilance to defend the nation and safeguard its stability and sources. His Highness underlined that the KNG personnel’s dedication and field efficiency reflect the best meanings of loyalty and belonging to the nation and its wise leadership. His Highness wished the dear homeland perpetual security, safety, stability and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow mercy upon the souls of the martyrs who have sacrificed themselves while defending the nation. His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister were accompanied by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Chief of His Highness the Crown Prince’s Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. –KUNA
