Egypt reiterates full support for Gulf, Jordan security amid regional tensions

Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s categorical rejection of Iranian attacks targeting Gulf countries and Jordan, reaffirming full support for the security and stability of Arab sister states. This came during a series of phone calls between President Al-Sisi and the leaders of Qatar, UAE and Jordan, said Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed Al-Shenawy in a statement. The statement said that Al-Sisi expressed Egypt’s condemnation of Iranian attacks on the Gulf states and Jordan, stressing full solidarity with the Arab states. He emphasized Egypt’s readiness to provide all necessary support to safeguard the security and stability of Gulf countries and Jordan. – KUNA
