The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced that Eid prayers will be held at 6:08 am in all mosques where Friday prayers are usually conducted, with a clear directive not to hold prayers in outdoor courtyards. In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency, the ministry said an administrative circular issued by Undersecretary Engineer Suleiman Al-Suwailem has been sent to mosque directors across all governorates. The circular mandates that Eid prayers must be held inside the mosques designated for Friday prayers, taking into account time differences, reports Al-Qabas daily. The ministry stressed that no Eid prayers will take place in open spaces or mosques courtyards this year, ensuring that all worshippers gather inside the designated mosques only. It added that special supplications will be made for HH Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, asking God to grant him good health and continued well-being, and to preserve Kuwait’s security and stability. Prayers will also be offered for mercy upon the nation’s martyrs, and for the protection and strength of its armed forces.
