First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah reviewed local and regional developments at the joint civil defense operations room alongside senior security officials. The Ministry of Interior said, in a statement on Tuesday, that Sheikh Fahad emphasized the need to strengthen preparedness and improve coordination among authorities, stressing that national security is a shared responsibility requiring ongoing vigilance to protect the country and its resources. The meeting reviewed cooperation efforts and discussed ways to boost readiness and strengthen field coordination among security and military sectors. During the meeting, they stressed closely monitoring regional developments, submitting regular reports, and enforcing the law firmly and fairly to strengthen state authority and preserve security and stability.
