General Fire Force Successfully Controls Fire at Kuwait Airport Fuel Tanks

The General Fire Force announced that its firefighting teams have successfully brought under control the fire at fuel tanks belonging to Kuwait International Airport. At the same time, other firefighting units continue efforts to contain a separate fire at the main headquarters of the Public Institution for Social Security. Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Ghareeb, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department and official spokesperson for the force, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that no significant injuries have been reported as a result of the fire at Kuwait International Airport. Firefighting teams remain on site as operations continue to fully secure both locations. – Kuna
