The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC) marked the holy month of Ramadan with a meaningful community outreach initiative, spreading compassion and support through a food ration distribution drive in the Jleeb and Abbasiya areas. Reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan—centered on kindness, empathy, and social responsibility—the Chapter once again demonstrated its strong commitment to serving those in need. On March 13, the Chapter organized a well-coordinated food distribution campaign at two Tanzifco labor camps, providing essential dry ration boxes containing lentils, cooking oil, rice, flour, and dates. Notably, one of the camps catered exclusively to female laborers, highlighting a thoughtful recognition of their important role in the community and ensuring they were equally supported during the holy month. The initiative was carefully managed by committee members CA Shuja Khan, CA Joseph Peter Cheruvathoor, CA Jatin Bagaria, and CA Firoz Ali, under the leadership of Chairman CA Rohit Agarwal. The effort was further strengthened by a dedicated team of volunteers, including CA Venkata Ramana Badida, CA Sai Devata, CA Aditya Dhanuka, CA Sweta Chipra, and CA Suparna Mukherji, who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth distribution of supplies to all beneficiaries. The ICAI Kuwait Chapter also extended its sincere appreciation to sponsors for their valuable logistical support, which played a crucial role in the success of the initiative despite challenging conditions. Additionally, the organizing committee expressed gratitude to its media partner The Times Kuwait for continued support of the Chapter’s community and social initiatives.
