India Reaffirms Support for Kuwait in Call with Crown Prince

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received a telephone call from Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of India, during which the Indian leader conveyed greetings and congratulations on behalf of Droupadi Murmu. Prime Minister Modi extended his greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as to His Highness the Crown Prince, on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr. He expressed sincere wishes for the State of Kuwait and its people to continue their progress and prosperity, and to enjoy lasting security, stability, and well-being. During the call, the Indian Prime Minister reaffirmed India’s strong condemnation of the recent Iranian attacks on Kuwaiti territory, describing them as a clear violation of sovereignty and international law. He underscored India’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its firm support for all measures taken by the country to safeguard its security and stability. For his part, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Droupadi Murmu, expressing deep appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his kind sentiments and steadfast support. His Highness noted that India’s concern reflects the depth of the longstanding and close bilateral relations between the two friendly nations, and wished the Republic of India and its people continued growth and development.
