The Ministry of Interior today mourned the loss of two security officers who were killed while performing their national duty, describing them as martyrs who sacrificed their lives in service of the country. In a statement, the ministry announced the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Emad Al-Sharrah and Major Fahd Abdulaziz Al-Mujammad, both members of the Directorate General of Land Border Security. The two officers were killed at dawn while carrying out security duties assigned to the Ministry of Interior, the statement said, without providing further operational details, reports Al-Rai daily. The ministry expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss, emphasizing that members of the security forces continue to perform their responsibilities with courage and dedication in safeguarding the nation and preserving its security and stability.
