Interior Ministry intensifies field operations following heavy rains

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahib, conducted a field inspection tour covering several roads and areas affected by rainwater accumulation following the recent spell of heavy rainfall. The visit aimed to assess the progress of on-ground operations carried out by the relevant authorities and to ensure the smooth flow of traffic across impacted locations, reports Al-Rai daily. The tour also included a visit to the central control room, where Al-Wahib was briefed on the mechanisms in place for handling incoming reports and monitoring developments in real time. During the inspection, the Undersecretary examined the ongoing efforts to drain water accumulations and reopen affected roads, commending the dedication and efficiency of security personnel and supporting entities involved in managing the situation.
