A fresh Iranian strike on a key military installation in Saudi Arabia has left 12 US service members injured, including two in serious condition, according to multiple media reports citing official sources. The attack targeted Prince Sultan Air Base and involved a combination of missiles and drones, underscoring a continued escalation in regional hostilities. In addition to personnel casualties, the strike caused damage to KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft stationed at the base. This is not the first time the facility has come under fire. In an earlier incident on March 1, US Army Sergeant Benjamin N. Pennington sustained critical injuries at the same base and later died, becoming one of 13 American troops killed since the conflict began, according to dw.com. Since the outbreak of fighting on February 28, more than 300 US military personnel have been wounded. The Pentagon indicated that 273 of those injured have since recovered and returned to active duty.
