Joint emergency teams raid restaurant, fish market; destroy adulterated food

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced on Thursday inspectors raided a restaurant and a fish market violating health regulations, and destroyed adulterated food. The inspection was carried out jointly by emergency teams from PAFN and the Ministries of Commerce and Industry and Interior. According to an official statement, the campaign, in the Capital Governorate, led to the closure of restaurant for trading in adulterated food and meat of unknown origin. Moreover, the team took legal action against sellers at a fish market displaying fish unfit for human consumption. The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to protecting public health through continued monitoring and inspections, urging all businesses to adhere strictly to approved health and safety standards.
