KFF hails heroic efforts in containing airport fuel tank blaze without casualties

The Director of Public Relations and Media Department at the Kuwait Fire Force, Brigadier-General Muhammad Al-Gharib, has expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to firefighters who responded to the fuel tank fire at Kuwait International Airport, which was reportedly triggered by a hostile drone attack. He praised their courage and professionalism in carrying out their duties under difficult conditions, noting their vital role in protecting lives and property. Speaking to Kuwait TV, Al-Gharib said the actions of the firefighting teams are a source of national pride and reflect a strong sense of responsibility and dedication to duty. He explained that the firefighting operation lasted 58 hours and was executed according to carefully prepared plans by the General Fire Force, ensuring the rapid containment of the blaze in line with the highest safety standards, reports Al-Rai daily. Al-Gharib confirmed that the fire was brought under control without any human casualties, with losses limited to material damage only. He also urged the public to verify information from official sources and avoid spreading rumors, warning that misinformation can cause unnecessary fear and panic, while wishing safety for all residents and citizens.
