Khamenei, Shamkhani, Pakpour killed in missile attack

Iran’s official news agency IRNA confirmed on Sunday (today) that Ali Shamkhani, a senior advisor to Khamenei, and Revolutionary Guard commander Major General Mohammad Pakpour were killed in Israeli and American airstrikes. The agency said a council consisting of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, and one of the jurists of the Guardian Council would temporarily assume leadership duties in Iran, reports Al-Rai daily.
