Kuwait Armed Forces detect, neutralize 4 hostile drones over 24 hours

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that the country’s armed forces detected four hostile drones that violated Kuwait’s airspace over the past 24 hours. One was destroyed while another fell outside the threat zone without posing any danger, it added. Official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said during a media briefing on the latest developments amid the ongoing Iranian aggression against Kuwait that two drones fell in the northern part of the country without causing any material damage or human injuries. He added that a National Guard unit shot down two drones within its area of responsibility as part of the integration and cooperation among the country’s military authorities. Colonel Al-Atwan also noted that the Explosives Inspection and Disposal Unit of the Land Force Engineering handled six reports over the past 24 hours, adding that all were addressed and safely disposed of in accordance with established procedures. He affirmed that the nation places great hope in the protectors of the homeland from the members of the armed forces, expressing full confidence in their capabilities and dedication to fulfilling their duties in safeguarding the security and stability of Kuwait.
