Kuwait Armed Forces intercept 12 Iranian drones, 14 missiles on Friday

Kuwait Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed Friday 12 drones and 14 rockets fired from Iran against the State of Kuwait, army spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said, causing only material damage. He said in a statement that two of the rockets fired crashed outside what he called “threat zone.” Al-Atwan said the drones were fired at the north and central Kuwait, while and rockets fired fired at southern areas causing only material damage. The Armed Forces Chief of Staff Command said explosions heard in different parts of the nation was because of the interception operation. It urged the public to abide by the safety procedures issued by the official authorities. The Armed Forces affirmed it was ready to deal with any threat in a decisive manner in a way that protect sovereignty, security and stability of the State of Kuwait. – KUNA
