Kuwait Armed Forces Intercept 15 Drones; Airport Radar Damaged, No Casualties

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Al-Otaibi, announced that Kuwait’s armed forces monitored and successfully dealt with 15 hostile drones over the past 24 hours. Al-Otaibi stated during a media briefing that several of the drones targeted the vicinity of Kuwait International Airport, causing significant damage to the airport’s radar system. He confirmed that no human casualties were recorded as a result of the attacks. He added that the armed forces continue to carry out their missions and national duties at the highest levels of readiness and vigilance, underscoring their commitment to safeguarding the country’s security.
