Kuwait arrests six for unauthorized drone use amid security alert

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the arrest of six individuals for operating aerial drones without permits in violation of previously issued warnings and regulations over the past 24 hours. In a media briefing, ministry spokesperson Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib said the suspects have been referred to the competent authorities for legal action, reiterating a strict ban on the use of drones without authorization during the current period. Explosive ordnance disposal teams handled 12 reports in the past 24 hours related to debris resulting from interception operations, bringing the total number of such incidents addressed since the start of the escalation to 484, he added.
