The Kuwaiti Meteorological Department has forecast that scattered rainfall, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms, will persist across the country until midnight on Sunday. Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency that Kuwait has been affected since Saturday by an extension of a surface low-pressure system combined with a warm and humid air mass, reports Al-Rai daily. This weather pattern is expected to lead to the formation of low and medium clouds, interspersed with cumulonimbus clouds, increasing the chances of scattered showers that may at times become thundery, particularly around dawn on Sunday. Al-Ali also warned that horizontal visibility may drop in some areas due to the unstable conditions. The weather situation is expected to continue until midnight on Sunday, after which conditions will gradually improve. He added that daytime temperatures are expected to range between 23°C and 25°C, while nighttime temperatures will likely fall between 13°C and 15°C.
