The Ministry of Interior urged citizens and residents to exercise caution and adhere to the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities due to the unstable weather conditions in the country. In a press statement, the Ministry said that forecasts from the Meteorological Department indicate that the country will be affected by a period of unstable weather starting Thursday morning at 10:00 am and lasting until 8:00 pm, with the conditions gradually decreasing. The statement noted that moderate to heavy rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and active southerly winds with speeds ranging from 60 to 70 kilometers per hour, is expected, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility and high waves in coastal areas. The Ministry urged everyone to avoid going out unless absolutely necessary, especially during the peak of the weather conditions, to stay away from areas of water accumulation, to drive cautiously, reduce speed, maintain a safe distance, and ensure their vehicles are in good working order. The Ministry of Interior affirmed the readiness of its field units to respond to any reports, urging everyone to cooperate with the relevant authorities and to contact the emergency hotline (112) or the General Directorate of Civil Defense operations center (1804000) when needed, and to follow updates through official channels. –KUNA
