Kuwait Crown Prince visits Ministry of Defense, commends “heroic” efforts

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, accompanied by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, visited the Ministry of Defense on Thursday. Upon his arrival, His Highness the Crown Prince was received by Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Daraj Saad Al-Shuraiaan. During the visit, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He lauded the Ministry’s significant efforts in maintaining a high state of readiness amidst the rapid and critical developments currently unfolding in the region. His Highness was briefed on the latest operational field reports and the mechanisms employed by the Armed Forces in responding to recent heinous attacks targeting the State of Kuwait. The briefing focused on defensive measures implemented to secure the nation’s airspace and fortify national stability. His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled praised the “sincere efforts and great sacrifices” made by the personnel of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, commending their vigilance in defending the nation’s sovereignty and safeguarding its vital resources. He emphasized that the dedication shown by the military embodies the highest ideals of loyalty to the homeland and its leadership. Concluding his visit, His Highness prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow His mercy upon Kuwait’s righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation. He further prayed for the continued security, safety, and prosperity of the State of Kuwait under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir. His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister were accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, and the Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan, Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. – KUNA
