Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received the European Union Special Envoy to the Gulf region, Luigi Di Maio, today (Sunday), where both sides discussed the latest developments in the region. The talks, amid rising military escalation, addressed the implications of Iranian aggression against countries in the region, and its serious repercussions for regional and international security and stability, reports Al-Jarida daily. The meeting also reviewed the strong historical ties and close strategic partnership between the State of Kuwait and the European Union, highlighting continued cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest.
