Kuwait intercepts 2 ballistic missiles, 13 drones, reports two sustain minor injuries

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced that the armed forces detected and intercepted two hostile ballistic missiles and 13 drones within Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours. Official spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said during a media briefing on the latest developments amid the ongoing Iranian aggression against Kuwait that two minor injuries were recorded because of falling debris, noting that both cases are in stable condition. No significant material damage was reported, while the Explosives Inspection and Disposal Unit handled eight reports during the same period in accordance with established procedures, he added. Colonel Al-Atwan affirmed that members of the military and security institutions remain steadfast in their duty, emphasizing their commitment to defending Kuwait’s security, stability and territorial integrity with dedication and sacrifice. – KUNA
