Kuwait Intercepts 4 Ballistic Missiles, 23 Drones in 24 Hours Amid Ongoing Threats

The Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its air defense systems successfully detected and intercepted four hostile ballistic missiles and 23 drones within Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours. According to the official spokesperson of the Ministry, Colonel Staff Saud Al-Atwan, all identified threats were neutralized, while three drones fell outside the designated threat zone without causing any danger or material damage. Speaking during a media briefing on the latest developments, Al-Atwan highlighted the continued readiness and effectiveness of Kuwait’s defense systems amid the ongoing Iranian aggression against the country. He further noted that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit of the Land Forces Engineering responded to 11 reports within the same period. All cases were handled and neutralized in accordance with established safety procedures, ensuring public security and stability.
