Kuwait issued a decree on Sunday reconstituting the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation, placing it under the leadership of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The newly formed committee will include senior government officials: the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Secretary-General of the Cabinet, reports Al-Rai daily. The restructuring aims to enhance oversight and coordination in matters related to citizenship verification and administration, ensuring that all relevant authorities work in alignment with national laws and policies.
