Kuwait Urges Iraq to Halt Attacks Originating from Its Territory

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Ambassador of Kuwait to Iraq, Mohammed Hassan Al-Zaman, provided information regarding attacks targeting Kuwait that were launched from Iraqi territory. During the meeting, the Kuwaiti side called on the Government of Iraq to take immediate action to stop such attacks, stressing the importance of preserving the strong fraternal relations between the two neighboring countries. For its part, the Iraqi government affirmed that it is making significant and exceptional efforts to shield Iraq from the repercussions of the ongoing war and to maintain the country’s security and stability in the face of the attacks affecting several states across the region. The remarks were made during the reception of Ambassador Al-Zaman by the Undersecretary of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations at the ministry headquarters in Baghdad.
