The Ministry of Islamic Affairs (Kuwait) has called on citizens and residents to rally around the country’s leadership and adhere strictly to official instructions in light of the current regional circumstances. In the unified Friday sermon broadcast across mosques, worshippers were urged to act with wisdom and rationality while avoiding the spread of rumors or unverified information. The sermon, titled “For God is the Best of Guardians and the Most Merciful of the Merciful,” stressed that the present situation requires calm thinking and responsible behavior. It called on people to turn to God through prayer, supplication and seeking forgiveness during times of hardship and uncertainty. The sermon also emphasized the importance of unity and support for the nation’s leadership, urging the public to listen to and follow the directives issued by official authorities, reports Al-Rai daily. At the same time, the ministry warned against circulating rumors or sharing unreliable news, noting that misinformation can create unnecessary fear and anxiety within society. It also urged the public not to interfere in matters outside their responsibility. In particular, worshippers were advised to refrain from filming scenes of missile interceptions or security operations in the sky and posting them on social media, stressing that such matters should be left to the authorities responsible for managing the situation. The sermon further encouraged the public to increase acts of worship and devotion during the holy month of Ramadan, while offering prayers for those stationed on the front lines defending the country. The message concluded by emphasizing the importance of national unity, solidarity and cooperation, urging society to avoid division and discord during challenging times.
