Municipality steps up law enforcement, 32 breaches recorded in Farwaniya

The Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services in Farwaniya has issued 32 violations this month for non-compliance with municipal regulations and conditions, following intensive field inspection tours. The department said the enforcement campaign targeted establishments found breaching applicable rules and bylaws, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance across commercial activities, reports Al-Rai daily. Director of the Audit and Follow-up Department, Talal Al-Aqab, confirmed that inspection teams will continue their field visits to monitor violations and warn shop owners to adhere strictly to municipal laws to avoid penalties. He added that the inspections form part of regular oversight procedures aimed at maintaining order and ensuring that businesses operate in line with approved regulations.
