National Guard confirms radiation levels in Kuwait within safe limits

The National Guard affirmed on Wednesday that radiation levels in Kuwait’s airspace and territorial waters remain within normal limits. Brigadier General Dr. Jad’an Fadel, Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations and official spokesperson for the National Guard, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that specialized teams at the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center for Chemical Defense and Radiological Monitoring are maintaining continuous surveillance. He noted that monitoring efforts are being carried out in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure public safety. He added that the radiological monitoring system is operating around-the-clock with high efficiency and readiness. Brigadier General Fadel also urged the public to rely only on official sources and avoid spreading rumors or unverified information, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safety and stability.
