National Guard Downs Drone, Four UAVs Over Secured Sites

The National Guard announced on Thursday that its Task Force successfully downed one drone and four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over sites under its responsibility. In a press statement, official spokesperson Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel Jadaan said the operation was carried out at dawn as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security, safeguard vital installations, and confront potential threats. He urged the public to adhere to all safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities. The spokesperson affirmed that National Guard forces, in coordination with the army, police, and the General Fire Force, remain on high alert and full readiness to respond decisively to any threats. He stressed that these efforts aim to preserve Kuwait’s sovereignty, maintain security and stability, and protect national interests and capabilities.
