The Public Authority for Civil Information has announced a revised visitor reception mechanism, effective Tuesday, March 24, 2026, as part of efforts to streamline services and enhance operational efficiency. Under the new measures, evening service hours have been suspended until further notice, with all in-person transactions now limited to a single morning shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The authority emphasized that access to its facilities will be strictly by prior appointment, which must be booked عبر the Meta Platform or the Sahl application. It further stressed that any transactions that can be completed electronically will not be processed at service centers, reinforcing the government’s push toward digital service delivery.
