Public Works Minister inspects Shuwaikh Port to ensure workflow, food security

Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan conducted on Thursday an inspection visit to Shuwaikh Port to review the workflow and operational mechanisms at the port and monitored the movement of goods and commodities, to ensure readiness of operational facilities and efficiency of procedures during in import and unloading operations. In a statement, the Ministry of Public Works said that the visit aims to ensure the regularity of supply movements and the smooth flow of goods into the country, as well as to enhance coordination between the concerned authorities to ensure the continued provision of basic goods and the stability of local markets, which supports the food security system in light of the current situations. _ KUNA
